Obesity Medicine Association

I have been an active member of the Obesity Medicine Association –OMA (formerly the American Society of Bariatric Physicians) since 2005. OMA is a national medical professional association of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician’s assistants, and the national leader in clinical education and training for obesity medicine specialists. My OMA involvement includes:

  • Overview of clinical education content

In December 2016, the Obesity Medicine Association designated me as a Fellow of the organization–FOMA.
